Move-Out
- GES will need 1 hour after close to place visqueen on top of the facility's carpet.
- EACs may not enter the floor until 6:00 p.m.
- Return of empties will be quicker this year! All exhibitors should receive their empties by 9:00 p.m. If you plan to leave before then, ensure all valuables are packed and secured to avoid being taken or broken.
- Freight Pick-Up: Each exhibitor will be assigned a Targeted Move-Out time & date. Schedule your labor and trucks accordingly.

We'll bring donation bins through the floor at 5:00 p.m. for you to place loose flowers, or you can use the Food Bank labels (available at the GES Service Center) and we'll come pick it up from your booth.
On-Site Perishable Product Delivery
All perishable delivery & pick-up between refrigerated storage and booth is provided by GES at NO CHARGE.
- GES will send email notification for product arrival to your primary booth contact on file.
- You may provide a preferred email address for notification by submitting this form. You may also contact the GES Servicenter to verify your shipment has been received.

- Upon delivery of product each morning, re-label any remaining product with either Trash, Food Bank, or the appropriate daily color coded labels for GES pickup (labels will be provided onsite).
Self-Unloading
Exhibitors are permitted to hand carry their own product/materials in as long as it does not require the use of dollies or 4-wheeled carts.
- Privately owned vehicles may go to the North Hall's Carpark 1, any level. You can self-unload and enter through a freight elevator, or you can hire GES cartload service for a one-way delivery to your booth. Parking garage fees will apply.
Shipping Tips
- If you need assistance with domestic shipping of perishables, contact our approved Perishable Shipping Provider.
- If you need assistance with international shipping and customs, contact our approved Customs Freight Forwarder.
- Provide your on-site booth contact with all shipment tracking information including your drivers' contact number.
- NEVER mix booth freight and perishable products on the same skid. Include a bill of lading (BOL) with a separate weight certificate to take advantage of the 25% GES discount on material handling rates (listed below).
- Label your refrigerated product with the appropriate color-coded refrigerated storage labels to indicate the day you want that product taken out of refrigerated storage for delivery to your booth. Be sure that the labels are clearly visible on each side of the pallet, and write your booth number on all sides/boxes.
Balloons in Your Booth
Helium balloons are permitted if they are properly anchored and used as permanent fixtures within the booth. Inflated balloons may not be distributed to attendees, and fees will apply to remove balloons released into ceiling areas.
Helium gas cylinders used for refilling balloons must be secured in an upright position.
Metallic and Mylar balloons are prohibited at all times.
Use of pressurized tanks must comply with public safety regulations. (See Fire Regulations - Hazardous Materials).
Plant/Floral Inspection
Review the state and federal regulations to ensure compliance if you are importing produce, plants, or floral products into California. Apply for any necessary permits early as processing time may be significant.
USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) regulates the importation of plants and plant products under the authority of the Plant Protection Act. PPQ maintains its import program to safeguard U.S. agriculture and natural resources from the risks associated with the entry, establishment, or spread of animal and plant pests and noxious weeds.
You may be required to submit a permit application to the USDA in order to import certain items, so please review this information early so that you have any necessary permits in advance of the show. For more details, please read this APHIS fact sheet: Importing Food and Agricultural Products into the United States.
