Did you know nearly half the babies born in the U.S. today qualify for WIC? After years of advocacy, the benefit amount for fruits and vegetables was temporarily updated in the summer of 2021 to reflect the government’s own dietary guidelines. In this Virtual Town Hall as we'll understand why this program is important to growing consumption, how the benefit boost is changing the way young families purchase produce and the advocacy needed from the industry to make this update permanent.
