Miami, FL – The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) celebrated a landmark year at The Floral Conference, held February 24-26 in Miami. The conference set new standards with a record number of retail buyers and banners in attendance, an expanded conference schedule, and the highly anticipated Breeder Showcase, which was open to all attendees for the first time.
The 2025 event featured an enhanced lineup of sessions and networking opportunities designed to foster connections and share industry-leading insights. Sessions included a focus on economic currents and the impact on consumer behavior, the power of shopper insights for floral, emerging trends, sales data, sustainability efforts, and more.
This year’s Breeder Showcase was a highlight, offering an exclusive glimpse into the latest floral innovations from 24 breeding companies representing the U.S., Colombia, Ecuador, France, Japan, the Netherlands, and Spain. Exhibiting breeders included Ball Horticulture Company, Florius Plants BV., NIRP International and Selecta One. The breeder-buyer-attendee interaction at the showcase facilitated strategic partnerships and tailored collaboration.
The 2025 conference attracted a record number of buyers from major retailers such as Albertsons, Giant, Schnucks, Vallarta and Walmart, allowing for increased access to retail decision-makers and fostering critical connections to help drive industry growth and innovation.
