Fruit and Veggies Yummy Yummy is a national campaign designed to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among Australian families by partnering with The Wiggles to make healthy eating fun and engaging for children. The campaign uses digital content, retail promotions, concerts, and educational resources to encourage families to incorporate more fruits and veggies into their daily lives. The primary goals are to reach over 1 million families, drive an extra serving of fruits and veggies per day, and inspire lasting behavioral change. Why This Campaign Matters
This initiative is crucial because Australian families, particularly children, are eating fewer fruits and vegetables each year. The campaign directly addresses this trend and the following key issues:
- Declining Consumption: Only 6.5% of adults and 4.6% of children meet the recommended daily intake.
- Retail Influence: 96% of Australian children influence what their parents buy at the grocery store.
- Industry Fragmentation: The campaign unifies the fresh produce industry to work toward a common goal.
By working together, the industry can increase sales, shift habits, and build a healthier next generation.


Campaign Momentum and Success
As of August 2025, the campaign has achieved significant milestones:
- The campaign launched with The Wiggles, generating more than 100 media stories.
- The consumer-facing site, fruitandveggies.org, is live.
- It has garnered over 1.2 million impressions across digital and retail channels.
- Retail activations and early learning resource kits are currently available.
